Up to now, finding the perfect sound
usually involved a trade off between aural qualities
and aesthetic ones. Racks of hi-tech equipment, huge
speakers, twisted spaghetti tangles of interconnects
and thick speaker cabling made many an otherwise
attractive room look like a recording studio; and
an untidy one at that. And if you wanted music in
another room, you had to start all over again.
It does not have to be this way. Almost none of
this equipment or cabling needs to be on view. Moreover,
one system should be able to feed any room in the
house.
Exclusive manufacturers
We work with an exclusive band of enlightened manufacturers who produce hi-fidelity
systems that also lend themselves to true multi-room integration. At their
simplest, these can extend the sound from a principle location to other rooms,
with simple rotary volume controls. And at a more advance level you can split
sources.
Sophisticated systems
More sophisticated systems allow you to change tracks
or select sources using wired or wireless handsets
from any room in the house. You can even split the
sources - listening to classical music on FM radio
in the dining room while someone else is mellowing
out with Jazz on CD in the den. |
