11 Feb SAM APP AT GASHOLDERS, LONDON
Last week SMC were at Gasholders, London introducing their building technology monitoring platform, SAM. The event provided an insight into how SAM works and what it does using Gasholders, where it will be implemented, as an example. We shared how our established aftercare service and new SAM app are, together, changing support for residents and building managers. Guests were then given an exclusive tour around the iconic King’s Cross development.
The Gasholders, London Development
The Grade II listed development from Argent LLP and Wilkinson Eyre Architects is made up of 145 prime residential apartment and penthouses, built within a refurbished triplet of cast-iron gasholder guide frames. Invented in 1824 the telescopic gasholder provided the storage needed to meet the demand of an ever-expanding city. Some 150 years later, they are once again responding innovatively to the Capital’s ever-increasing population.
The main entrance to the Gasholders is situated on the newly appointed Lewis Cubitt Square, where a cantilevered canopy and glass door lead to the soaring heights of the lobby, which has a 24-hour concierge. Inside, a feature staircase and highest quality finishes enhance the splendid marriage of contemporary architecture and Victorian engineering.
We are proud to have been part of this iconic project and are excited to have been able to share our involvement.
In 2018 we launched SAM, SMC’s aftercare app. Fully integrated with our best-inclass in-house monitoring, scheduling and management system SAM acts as a portal between you and our service team.
SAM provides you with another easy way to communicate with our aftercare
team, from logging new issues and tracking existing ones, to viewing contract
information, tech updates and how-to guides. As always, we’ll also be available at the end of the phone or in person if you need us to be.
See more on SAM here.
