With our top level service plans, we include time to give your systems a full health check. Sometimes that’s the very simple and practical (dusting and cleaning to keep cooling fans cooling, for example, or replacing ageing batteries before they give up). Other times it may be software or firmware updates for security, reliability or additional features (applied in a managed way so no inter-connected systems are affected by the change). Whatever it is, we know preventative checks live up to their name and help keep your systems running reliably.
We have a dedicated team of technology specialists on hand to help you. They’re in our Clapham office during working hours, then it’s over to the on-call team for out-of-hours support. There will be someone available whenever you need them.
If we can’t fix a problem from the office, with a service contract from SMC you’ll have our guaranteed commitment to send one of our top aftercare engineers to you to help, any time of day or night if you need it.
When you have a problem, it’s unlikely that you’ll know exactly what’s gone wrong. You may have no lights or no internet but there are myriad causes of these problems, now that everything’s connected. Our remote diagnostics allow us to ‘dial in’ to your home system (with your permission) and identify the problem remotely. Often we can fix it remotely too!
We’ve been specifying and installing systems for our clients for over 30 years. With upgrades, it’s crucial to know what to look for before you start. Our experience means we have an established process to identify potential pitfalls, and we make you aware of all the challenges involved so there are no surprises.
