MAYFAIR VISION SUITE

This seven-story building is home to a world-renowned developer. The project focused on transforming the ground and first floors into a marketing suite for their newly constructed Mayfair apartments.
Within the vision room of the marketing suite a large format screen was required, presenting a challenge due to the listed interior constraints. Close coordination with the interior designer and cabinet maker was essential. The solution needed to be a free-standing unit with a small footprint, incorporating concealed full-range multi-channel audio, and needed to integrate seamlessly with the client’s interactive sales and marketing solution, as well as with the operation of the environmental controls.
The Samsung wall was mounted within the joinery rather than being fixed directly to the wall. Due to the building's listed status, the joinery could not be anchored to the structure. Ultimately, a large piece of steel was attached to the bottom of the joinery to address the weight issue and provide the necessary support.
Local equipment was concealed within the joinery, including an Anthem AVR connected to a Bowers & Wilkins 10-inch subwoofer and three Bowers & Wilkins CWM speakers serving as the left, center, and right channels. The rear speakers in the room consisted of two Bowers & Wilkins M1s on stands. This setup was linked to a COMO PC in our rack via a BlueStream receiver. Blinds and lighting are controlled by Lutron.
