This is the ultimate smart home, blending luxury specifications with smart technology infrastructure, enabling the client to add features to suit their lifestyle. It is all about creating a personal living environment via a range of interactive audio, visual, lighting and entertainment systems.
Smart TVs are fitted in a number of rooms including bedrooms and the master bathroom. Sky HD & Sky +, FreeSat, FreeView and terrestrial television are also available throughout the property. Future provision for foreign satellite was incorporated into the fabric of the building. In the living room, a media room experience has been created for the family to enjoy HD film or TV together with surround sound and the property has a number of live Sonos music zones providing multiroom audio.
A NACOSS Gold Grade 3 intruder alarm incorporating heat and smoke detection was installed. The system uses window contacts, vibration sensors and infra-red motion detectors to protect the home. The alarm is connected to RedCare and centrally monitored by police or fire response in the event of an activation.
The fully integrated Crestron solution provides a simple touch screen device that can replace all of those unsightly handsets for the hi-fi, television, Sky, cable and DVD. As well as these conventional appliances, the touch screen controllers also allow interaction with other systems such as lighting and blinds. With the single press of a button, the lights will dim to a preset level, the blinds will slowly drop, the audio and amplification equipment turns on to a preset level and the DVD player starts playing.
All principal rooms benefit from a simple to use, pre-programmed, Lutron scene setting lighting system so the user can create different scenes or moods with a touch of a button. Every room has the potential to have its own style and its own distinct personality.
